Album Helper — Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Summary

Album Helper does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All data the extension handles stays on your own computer, in your own browser.

What data is stored locally

The extension uses Chrome's local storage area to save:

This data is stored only on the device where it was created. It is not synced, not backed up to any server, and not accessible to the developer or any third party.

What data is transmitted

The extension makes network requests only in these situations:

  1. Image downloads — when you click a Download button, the extension fetches the image files you selected from Facebook's image servers, using your existing browser session. Files are saved directly to your computer's Downloads folder.

The extension never contacts any server operated by the developer, any analytics service, any advertising network, or any third-party API. There is no tracking, telemetry, crash reporting, or phone-home behaviour of any kind.
