Overview

"Send to LaserLab ImagePrep" is a browser extension that allows users to send images from any website directly to LaserLab ImagePrep for laser engraving preparation.

Data Collection

This extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

Specifically:

• No analytics or tracking — We do not use any analytics services, tracking pixels, or telemetry.
• No user accounts — The extension does not require or create any user accounts.
• No data sent to third parties — Image data is only ever sent to laserlab.app, the user's intended destination.
• No browsing history — The extension does not monitor, record, or transmit your browsing activity.

Image Data Handling

When you choose to send an image to LaserLab:

1. The image is temporarily stored in your browser's local extension storage.
2. The image is transferred to the LaserLab ImagePrep page running in your browser.
3. The temporary storage is cleared immediately after the transfer.

Image data never leaves your browser except to load the LaserLab ImagePrep page, which you have explicitly requested. All image processing happens locally in your browser.

Permissions Explained

• contextMenus — Adds the "Send to LaserLab ImagePrep" option to the right-click menu.
• storage — Temporarily holds image data between the source tab and the LaserLab tab.
• activeTab — Reads image data from the current tab when you right-click an image.
• host_permissions — Allows fetching images from any website you choose to send to LaserLab. This is only exercised when you explicitly right-click an image and select the menu option.
